Centrifuge tubes, clear / brown, conical bottom, screw cap; made of very clear / brown, high quality polypropylene by fully automated machines without human intervention. The extremely robust tube wall guarantees resistance to high centrifugal forces of up to 6,000 RCF. Autoclavable at 121°C for 20 minutes. Caps should not be kept closed during the autoclaving process. Otherwise tubes may be deformed. Two versions are available:Aseptic tubes, Sterile tubes. Aseptic tubes are produced in class 10 000 aseptic production areas with extreme sterility control. Sterile tubes are produced in class 10 000 aseptic production areas and then re-sterilised with gamma rays. Sterile tubes are supplied with a certificate that they are „DNase-, RNase- and Pyrogen- free“. Caps are made of polyethylene with wide grooves for improved grip for easy opening and closing. This feature especially increases speed when working with gloves.The design of the inside of the cap ensures a hermetic and leak-proof closure. Caps can be closed and opened with one hand. A 3/4 turn of the cap is sufficient for complete closure. Graduations on the side wall provide visual control of the filled volume. For 15 ml tubes, the graduations are 0.5 ml. For 50 ml tubes the graduations are 2.5 ml. A printed labelling field on the side wall allows easy marking and labelling. The flat cap top offers multiple options for marking and labelling the tube. Accurate volume markings on the bottom of the tube clearly and visibly indicate the volume of liquid at the bottom.
