DURAN® Original GL 45 Laboratory bottle, amber, with screw cap and pouring ring, PP, blue, 3500 ml DURAN® Original GL laboratory bottles have become the gold standard of multifunctional laboratory bottles since their introduction in 1972. The bottles are moulded from high purity, clear USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3, known for its excellent thermal behaviour and high resistance to chemical attack. A combination of high performance materials and robust ISO 4796-1 design ensures long life. The use of a fused external brown colouring protects light-sensitive materials from the effects of photodegradation. The protection against ultraviolet light meets international USP/EP standards and lasts for the life of the bottle. The brown coloured bottles feature an easy-to-read graduated volume scale and a durable white enamel labelling field. The permanently printed batch identifier („Retrace Code“) on each bottle guarantees full traceability of manufacture. DURAN® Original laboratory bottles in brown are supplied with or without the familiar blue polypropylene cap and drip-free pouring ring for use up to 140 °C. All components are fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C.
