DURAN® Reagent Bottle, wide neck, amber, NS 85/55, with glass stopper, 10000 ml The classic stoppered reagent bottles are moulded from DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 type 1 glass and are suitable for the storage of liquid and solid chemicals and reagents. The bottles have a wide, conical neck and comply with ISO 4796-2. The wider neck is more suitable for handling powders. The glass stopper provides an excellent seal, protecting the contents from evaporation, oxidation and contamination. The labelling field and retrace code for manufacturing traceability are printed in durable white enamel. The brown colouring protects light-sensitive materials from the effects of photodegradation. Protection against ultraviolet light meets international USP/EP standards and lasts for the life of the bottle.
