DURAN® Filter Crucible, 8 ml, porosity 3 One of the most important separation methods in the laboratory environment is filtration and is used to separate or purify different media. Filters are required for this working method and are selected according to the application in terms of size and porosity. Filter chutes are filters that are used for solid-liquid separation by means of a vacuum. Filter chutes have a glass sintered base that serves as a filter medium and does not require any additional filter paper. Filter crucibles are also filter chutes. They differ only in the absence of a handle. This, however, allows the groove to be safely set down and further work steps, such as drying the filter residue on the filter in a vacuum desiccator, to be carried out. Special features and advantages: Filter crucibles do not have a stem so that the crucible can be set down safely and, for example, the collected solids can be dried. the collected solids can be dried Narrows towards the bottom and reduces potential contamination of the rubber sleeve Made of DURAN® glass with proven properties such as chemical resistance and high thermal shock resistance Burnt-in and therefore permanently durable white printed image Application: Qualitative analysis and preparative chemistry, separation and further processing of the filter residue, filtration at reduced pressure, filtration, Matching rubber sleeve and filter protrusion available.
