DURAN® protect GL 45 Laboratory bottle, clear, plastic coated, without screw cap and pouring ring, 3500 ml DURAN® Original GL laboratory bottles have become the gold standard of multifunctional laboratory bottles since their introduction in 1972. The safety-coated version of the bottles combines the best of both worlds: virtually inert USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3 on the inside and a protective plastic coating on the outside. The bottles are moulded from high purity clear glass, which is then PU plastic coated to reduce the risk of glass breakage and liquid splashes in the event of breakage. A combination of high performance materials and robust ISO 4796-1 design ensures long life. The bottles feature an easy-to-read graduated volume scale and a durable white enamel labelling field. The permanently printed batch identification („Retrace Code“) on each bottle guarantees complete traceability of production. The safety protective coating meets ASTM E1522 requirements and is fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C.
