DURAN® Volumetric Flask, Class A, batch certificate, 2 ml DURAN® Volumetric Flasks are available in two different accuracy classes: A and B. The two classes differ in the tolerances. The two classes differ in the tolerances of the volumes. A is the highest accuracy class, while the error limit of class B is about twice that of class A. The clear DURAN® volumetric flasks with accuracy class A have blue printing, the brown-coloured ones are printed in white. Volumetric flasks that have accuracy class A and a batch number are supplied with a batch certificate. This certificate documents the mean value resulting from the measurement of the given batch, the standard deviation and the date of issue. The batch certificates are also available online. The batch number consists of four digits. The first two numbers indicate the year of production, the following two the batch, e.g.: 18.01.
