Note: the SET-01 Base program is required for this set;Entering the reference weight: the reference weight can be defined in various ways. Typically it is determined by placing the counted reference quantity on the scale and dividing by one of the predefined reference quantities (REF key), or by placing an individual reference quantity on the scale and dividing by the individually entered reference quantity. Another option is to select an object from the master-data memory with a stored reference weight. Manual entry is also possible. The reference weight can be entered with any number of decimal places. This makes it possible, for example, to use reference weights determined on fine balances.;Central master-data memory: piece-counting objects can be stored in the system memory with reference weight, tare weight, name, ID number, etc. This means the reference weight does not have to be recalculated repeatedly and can be called up conveniently from memory. A possible tare value for the typical packaging, box or container can also be stored in the master-data memory and is then automatically deducted from the weighing result (Pre Tare);Highly efficient workflow thanks to maintained master data:;- Select the relevant counting object from the master-data memory (e.g. by scanning a barcode);- Place the objects to be counted in the known tare container on the scale;- Read the counting result (and save if required) – done! Compared with conventional counting scales, the time-consuming weighing and calculation of the reference weight is no longer necessary – saving time and costs;Creation or modification of master data, e.g. reference weights, can be stored tamper-proof in the dynamic data memory with the responsible user and a timestamp (data traceability). This makes it transparent how old a stored reference-weight value is and whether it should be updated. Recalculation of a reference-weight value can be updated very easily and conveniently in the master-data memory directly from a piece-counting operation;Accurate counting: automatic reference optimization gradually improves the average piece-weight value;PC printing function and barcode scanning function: by operating KERN EasyTouch in a Windows® or Android™ environment, the full PC/tablet accessory infrastructure can be used. In particular, standard Windows printers and PC label printers can print comprehensive counting slips or compact adhesive labels with the counting result according to individual specifications;Counting-system function: because any scales can be connected to EasyTouch and different scales are supported in the piece-counting function, a counting system can be operated. EasyTouch Count can therefore be used with a precision balance for accurate reference-weight determination of the smallest reference objects and a platform scale for counting larger quantities of the reference object. Both scales can be verified. The components of the EasyTouch counting system can be selected freely;ID protection: the 'ID protection' function makes it possible to assign each weighed and stored classification result a unique ID number (Dynamic Object ID) and ID name (Dynamic Object Name). Storage can be performed semi-automatically or fully automatically whenever the scale is unloaded and then loaded again. This means the user does not need to press any keys during mass storage and can work efficiently;Basic and Advanced mode: simple and fast use in everyday professional work;EasyTouch supports weighing processes in many professional applications. The user's focus is usually on another primary task – the weighing process is only an integrated sub-step. It should therefore be designed to be as simple, clear and error-free as possible;The so-called Basic mode reduces the user interface to the essentials and ensures streamlined, user-friendly operation. Procedure in Basic mode: in Basic mode, the user only selects the desired item, for example by barcode scan. The system then automatically performs the assigned function, such as weighing, piece counting, tolerance checks or other specific processes. The data are then saved – done. This automated procedure minimizes sources of error and noticeably optimizes the workflow;In Advanced mode, all functions are available in full. It is ideal for experienced users who regularly work with more complex requirements;Options;Central Save Server data-storage function (SET-10) for additional storage of all measurement data in a central local server directory. The measurement data from all weighing systems connected via EasyTouch and from all installed EasyTouch functions are stored here. Especially for users with multiple weighing systems, this provides the advantage of consolidating all weighing data in a single database and searching individual measurement data from different scales in only one table. Save Server data storage is also tamper-proof and immutable;Target Count: this automatic fill-to-target function allows a target quantity to be entered. An acoustic and optical signal is issued when approaching and reaching the target quantity. Ideally suited, for example, to picking activities, KERN SET-33;Checkweighing in pieces: this function allows weighing with a tolerance range, but with the result displayed in pieces instead of g or kg. In this function, a lower and upper limit can be defined in pieces. Depending on whether the counting result is inside or outside the tolerance range, the system issues a different signal, KERN SET-31;License information;License scope: one license can be operated simultaneously and independently on up to four terminal devices (PC, laptop, tablet);Users: an unlimited number of users can be created within one license;Scales: any number of scales can be created and operated within one license;Scale-to-terminal communication: the scale(s) can communicate with the PC, laptop or tablet via serial connection, USB, Bluetooth, Ethernet or Wi-Fi;
