Orion™ 9863BN Micro pH Electrode Measure pH by piercing septa with the Thermo Scientific™ Orion™ 9863BN Micro pH Electrode, a combination electrode consisting of a glass shaft with a needle tip (16 gauge) with a bevelled edge. Description: Micro pH electrode Diameter (metric) Shutter: 1.7 mm Electrode: combination electrode with needle tip with bevelled edge; tip: 40 x 1.7 mm Type of filling solution: 4M KCl with Ag/AgCl, Orion Cat. No. 900011 Internal reference system: single diaphragm Ag/AgCl Length (Anglo-American): 61 cm (5.39 in.) Length (Anglo-American) Cable: 15.2 m (3.28 ft.) Length (metric): 137 mm Length (metric) Cable: 1 m Max. Immersion: 3 mm Precision: 0.02 Storage conditions: To ensure fast response and free flow through the diaphragm, do not allow the diaphragm and reference system to dry out. Always clean the electrode before storage. Short-term storage (up to one week): Immerse the electrode in storage solution for pH electrodes, cat. no. 910001. Cover the filling opening to prevent crystallisation of the filling solution when storing the electrode and open the filling opening during calibration and measurement. Long-term storage (longer than one week): Fill the electrode and close the filling opening carefully. Store the electrode in the protective glass tube filled with a few drops of storage solution. Before using the electrode, prepare it as a new electrode. Diaphragm: Ceramic Operating temperature (metric): 0 °C° to 80 °C° Unit Size: Each Orion™ 9863BN Micro pH Electrode
