For extremely fast comminution (speed: up to 1500 rpm) of hard, medium-hard, brittle laboratory samples dry or in suspension to analytical fineness. Max. Feed size: (depending on material) 12 mm Max. Max. throughput per batch: 250 ml Final fineness: 10 - 20 µm Rotor speed: up to 1500 rpm Applications Mining, metallurgy, ceramics industry, agriculture and environment, infrared and X-ray fluorescence analysis Mode of operation In the vibrating cup mill, grinding is effected by horizontal circular vibrations of the grinding set on an oscillating table. The grinding set, which consists of a ring and a core, grinds the material to be ground by means of extremely high pressure, impact and friction. With this form of grinding, the transmission of forces to the material to be ground is even more important than the pure motor power. A special motor equipped with a particularly fail-safe, torque-optimised frequency converter meets all relevant safety standards worldwide. It ensures that the motor power is precisely adapted to the respective material to be ground and the grinding set – and thus optimises energy consumption. The performance features at a glance more power with a new drive concept extra fast grinding with up to 1500 rpm exact adjustment of speed to the second, Self-explanatory, multilingual menu guidance Guided ergonomic insertion of the grinding set Significantly lighter grinding sets with heat-insulated carrying handles Optimised tensioning of the grinding set with anti-twist protection Particularly secure bonnet locking Complete soundproof lining Dry or wet grinding 2-year warranty Equipment The oscillating disk mill PULVERISETTE 9 is delivered without grinding sets as standard. Grinding sets are available in 5 different materials and 3 different sizes from 50 ml to 250 ml capacity and can be ordered as accessories: Grinding set hardened steel for brittle, hard samples Grinding set chrome-free steel for brittle, hard samples Grinding set hard metal tungsten carbide for very hard, abrasive samples Grinding set agate for soft to medium-hard, brittle, fibrous samples without metallic contamination Grinding set zirconium oxide medium-hard, brittle, fibrous samples and for iron-free grinding PULVERISETTE 9 Vibrating Cup Mill.
