The safety label safe-it serves as a tamper-evident seal and protection against manipulation, e.g. of samples, retained samples, during sample transport, sealing of containers in the laboratory with important or hazardous chemicals as well as for sealing letters, consignments of goods and much more. The tamper-evident seal makes the initial opening of a package clearly and irrevocably visible, so that unlawful opening can be proven. If the security label is removed again, it separates into individual layers. A previously hidden pattern irreversibly appears on the surface and the adhesive leaves a non-removable residue on the substrate (so-called void label). Once the label has been removed, it cannot be reapplied. Relabelling or subsequent changes are therefore not possible. When the safe-it security seal is removed, a silver chequerboard pattern appears, both on the background and on the surface of the label itself.
