Sartopure GF Plus MidiCaps are self-contained, ready-to-use filter elements for the removal of contaminants such as colloids, lipids, protein aggregates and particles from bio-pharmaceutical fluids. They are used for the protection of membrane filters, column chromatography and ultrafiltration systems in pharmaceutical and biotechnological production processes. Applications: Sartopure® GF Plus MidiCaps are the ideal choice for pre-filtration and clarification of: - Cell culture fluids - Fermentation solutions - Serum-free and serum-containing cell culture media - Serum - High viscosity ophthalmic solutions and LVP - All media-containing lipids and colloids as contaminants. Effective clarification: For effective clarification of liquid flows, Sartopure® GF Plus prefilters consist of glass fibre layers based on a combination of adsorbent and mechanical retention. Economical pre-filtration: The three-dimensional filter matrix of Sartopure® GF Plus pre-filters enables exceptional filter throughput, thus ensuring a highly economical design of your pre-filtration systems. Reliable workflow: The high and precise particle retention capability of Sartopure® GF Plus allows a reliable workflow and also reproducible results from batch to batch, even under varying process conditions. Cost savings: The efficient protection of downstream membrane filters reduces filtration costs and leads to an increase in the yield of the biotechnical production process. Flexibility: Sartopure® GF Plus MidiCaps are available with different filtration areas from 300 cm² | 0.3 ft² up to 0.45 m² | 5 ft², ensuring easy adaptation to any filtration process regardless of batch size. Scale Up: Consistent and predictable scale-up and scale-down procedures can be performed safely because all Sartopure® GF Plus filter elements are equipped with the same filter fleece. Documentation: Sartopure® GF Plus MidiCaps have been designed, developed and manufactured in accordance with an ISO 9001 certified quality management system. A validation manual in accordance with regulatory requirements is available. ready-to-use, self-contained filter capsules designed for the removal of contaminants and particles from bio-pharmaceutical fluids used for the protection of membrane filters, column chromatography and ultrafiltration systems Applications: Sartopure® GF Plus MidiCaps® are the ideal choice for pre-filtration and clarification of: Cell culture fluids after cell harvest Fermentation solutions Serum-free or serum-containing cell culture media Serum All media containing lipids and colloids as contaminants Effective clarification: for effective clarification of fluid flows, Sartopure® GF Plus MidiCaps® consist of glass fibre layers based on a combination of adsorbent and mechanical retention.
