Within a very short time you can obtain a -79 °C cold dry ice tablet of 50 or 250 g weight with SnowPack®, without complicated technology, without electricity! This gives you the opportunity to achieve cost-effective cooling to extremely low temperatures at any time. SnowPack® is often used in hospitals, universities, schools, institutes, laboratories, in the chemical industry and in materials testing institutes. Examples of use: Temperature reduction in cooling baths or cold traps, pre-cooling of tissue samples, securing for transport or embedding of biological substances, freezing of blood and tissue samples, examinations in chemistry, physics and materials technology, etc. Dry ice is easy to handle, odourless and tasteless. The SnowPack® dry ice unit can be connected to any European CO2 gas cylinder with a riser tube (without pressure reducer) (W 21.80 x 1/14'' according to DIN 477-1 No. 6), as it is available in many companies and laboratories anyway. Otherwise, a bottle can be rented from the local specialised trade for a small fee. Ideal coolant for sample transport Performance depends on room temperature and pressure SnowPack 250 dry ice maker, tray Ø x h 80x60 mm
