The temperature probe with aluminium sleeve and flat tip is suitable for measurements in liquids and pasty media as well as for air temperature measurements. Due to its NTC sensor element, the probe enables precise temperature measurements with an accuracy of up to ±0.2 °C. The temperature probe is equipped with a cable. The temperature probe has a cable 2.4 metres long. For continuous measurements, you can mount the temperature probe permanently at the measuring location. All you need is a clamp or PG screw connection (not included in the scope of delivery). The temperature sensor is waterproof according to protection class IP 65, so measurements in outdoor areas are possible, for example. The response time t90 (time until the sensor indicates 90 % of the temperature jump) of this sensor of 12 seconds refers to measurements in moving water at +60 °C. This response time is prolonged if, for example, the temperature is too high. This response time is longer if, for example, measurements are taken in still liquids, pasty media or air.* The right sensor for every application Is the temperature sensor you require not listed? Please contact us directly. We have a wide range of standard temperature probes and also manufacture customised probes specifically to your individual requirements. *For air temperature measurements, the response time is a factor of 40 ...60 higher than the specified value measured in water. If you need a rather sluggish temperature sensor for measuring air temperature; this sensor is particularly suitable because it does not take into account short temperature peaks in the temperature measurement, or only to a very small extent. So, for example, if you want to use this probe for measuring the air temperature in the refrigerator; opening the refrigerator door briefly would not take into account the temperature fluctuation that occurs due to the mixing of warm room temperature and refrigerator temperature. If you need an air temperature probe with a fast response time; you are well advised to use the extra fast temperature probe with a large measuring range 0602 0493.
