The testo 104-IR pocket infrared thermometer is ideal for checking the temperature of foodstuffs. Compactly stowed in your jacket pocket, it is always at hand and ready to hand at the goods receiving area, during transports or on the inspection tour in the retail trade. Insertion thermometer and infrared thermometer in one With its precise 2-point laser with 10:1 optics, the testo 104-IR displays the exact measuring range and enables the error-free measurement of surface temperatures. Especially in goods receiving, it scans the surface temperature of individual foodstuffs or entire pallets of goods quickly, easily and without contact. The fold-out piercing probe also allows the core temperature to be measured in case of doubt – for example, for meat and sausage products. The insertion probe is therefore often used when the surface temperature measured by infrared is above or below the limit value and the core temperature measurement is useful for checking purposes. After the measurement, the insertion probe is safely stored on the unit. Easy to use, fast in use, practical in everyday life The unit activates as soon as the insertion probe is unfolded. The infrared measurement starts immediately at the push of a button. The measurement results are very easy to read on the large display, the few buttons are self-explanatory and can be operated without much instruction. Another practical advantage: the insertion infrared thermometer is waterproof (IP65). Possible applications Whether receiving, storing or transporting food - maintaining the cold chain is a top priority. The testo 104-IR penetration infrared thermometer is ideal for checking the prescribed temperature limits, no matter at which point in the cold chain you are testing. Like all testo temperature measuring instruments for the food sector, the testo 104-IR is also tested according to EN 13485 and HACCP compliant. Testo 104-IR in-line thermometer
