DURAN® GL 45 Screw Cap Holder, for thermocouple The thermocouple holder for the DURAN® GL 45 screw cap consists of a holder which is firmly integrated in a blue GL 45 screw cap made of polypropylene. This holds up to three separate thermocouple leads which are used in autoclaves or sterilisers to check that the correct sterilisation temperature has been reached. For this purpose, the tip of the thermocouple must be kept in the correct position inside the bottle, i.e. the extremely thin connecting lines should be prevented from curling up. The PTFE tube of the thermocouple holder for the DURAN® screw cap GL 45 ensures just this: to keep the tip of the thermocouple, where the temperature is measured, in the correct position inside the bottle during the entire sterilisation cycle! Special features and advantages: Holder for up to three separate thermocouple leads (lead cross-section 1/0.3 mm, 1/0.5 mm or 7/0.2 mm) The 240 mm long PTFE tube can be cut to size as required For use with DURAN® GL 45 laboratory glass bottles (1000 ml or less) Application: Tests on the heating duration of loading chambers as part of PQ (Performance Qualification), Routine sterilisation/autoclaving cycles, Functional tests after maintenance or repair of autoclaves DURAN® GL 45 Screw Cap Holder, for autoclave thermocouples.
