DURAN® GLS 80® Laboratory bottle, wide mouth, amber, without screw cap and pouring ring, 1000 ml The DURAN® GLS 80® wide mouth laboratory bottles are moulded from high purity, clear USP / EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3, known for its excellent thermal behaviour and high resistance to chemical influences. The wider opening allows easier bottle access for larger samples or materials such as granules, powders or viscous liquids. The use of a fused external brown colouring protects light-sensitive materials from the effects of photodegradation. The protection against ultraviolet light meets international USP/EP standards and lasts for the life of the bottle. The brown bottles feature an easy-to-read graduated volume scale and a durable white enamel labelling field. The permanently printed batch identifier („Retrace Code“) on each bottle guarantees full traceability of manufacture. The brown DURAN® GLS 80® wide-neck laboratory bottles are supplied complete with or without the familiar blue polypropylene cap and drip-free pouring ring for use up to 140 °C. All components are fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C.
