Single filter Saybolt colour number (PFXi-195 only) Number of filters: 1 Approximate value: 0 A series of conformance filter sets can be used to quickly and easily check the conformance of Lovibond® instruments to the main colour scales. Each filter set/single filter consists of coloured glass(es) representing a colour spectrum of the scale in question, mounted in holders suitable for the instrument in use. These are supplied with a certificate of conformity stating the actual values for each filter. Conformity filters are supplied in sets as it is good practice in conformity testing that users should test each side of the measurement range and ideally also in the centre. However, if required, individual conformity filters are also available under the category „Individual filters (certified)“. Conformity filters are assigned a nominal value and the company always tries to match this value as closely as possible. Occasionally, due to the individual process of glass manufacture, it may not be possible to hit the required values exactly.
