Method of operation Outdated division principles such as „quartering“ or „coning“ no longer meet the high requirements of modern analytical methods. The best possible sample division today is based on the combination of three division methods in one device: The sample is fed through a funnel to a division cone whose shape corresponds to quartering and coning. At its lateral surface, the sample material is accelerated outwards by rotation of the entire system and divided into up to 30 individual streams by guide channels. The individual samples are collected in glass screw bottles. Due to the rotation and the number of dividing channels of the dividing head, the number of divisions increases to up to 3,000 dividing steps per minute, so that each sample is composed of a very large number of individual samples - a hallmark of exact sample division.
