Sartorius Low-Retention tips have a very smooth and durable liquid-repellent surface, allowing optimal dispensing of the liquid and maximum sampling. Detergent-containing liquids with low surface tension simply slide off the inner surface of the tip, leaving little residue. This low-retention feature is particularly useful in applications where viscous or detergent-containing liquids are often pipetted: PCR, real-time PCR, cloning, SDS-PAGE and other nucleic acid or protein analysis methods. The low retention feature is available for Optifit tips as well as SafetySpace™filter tips. The Low-Retention tips are certified to be free of DNA, RNase, ATP and endotoxins. Ergonomic and easy tip insertion and ejection, ensured by compatibility with the Optiload function of Sartorius pipettes Environmentally friendly materials used in tips, carriers and racks are 100% recyclable Less waste by reusing autoclavable (121 ºC, 20 min) tip racks with refill or bulk tips Easy fit with Sartorius pipettes with corresponding colour-coded tip carriers Improved tip identification and traceability with informative rack labels indicating tip volume, product number, lot number and purity level The SafetySpace™ filter tips are now also available with the Low Retention feature for double safety during sampling. extra moisture-repellent tip surface for maximum sampling, even with liquids containing detergents optimal liquid flow for high precision and consistent pipetting results high chemical resistance of the Low-Retention tip surfaces for sample integrity and results integrity, without interfering washable components minimised risk of sample adsorption in the filter due to SafetySpace™ -feature no contamination with aerosols and liquids through a filter barrier certified free of DNase, RNase and endotoxins for contamination-free pipetting pre-sterilised by electron beam treatment The extra liquid-repellent tip surface and safety air gap and filter doubly improve sample collection: Through an improved liquid flow as well as through the minimised risk of the sample penetrating the filter. This makes these tips particularly suitable for sensitive applications in molecular biology, where: reagents also contain detergents prevention of cross-contamination is essential multiple dispensing with excess liquid is used The tips are made from production grade polypropylene and the filters are made from polyethylene and self-sealing additives to prevent sample and results from being compromised. The filter barrier protects against cross-contamination of the sample and/or pipette. It also minimises the need for pipette maintenance. Filter tips with the low retention feature are available for volumes from 10-1200 µl and are packaged in colour-coded individual racks. They are certified DNase, RNase and endotoxin free and have been pre-sterilised. Reduced risk of sample absorption into the filter with the Safety-Space feature Prevent aerosol and liquid contamination with a filter barrier Contamination-free pipetting with DNase-, RNase- and endotoxin-free certified tips Filter Tip LowRet, 5-200µl, 10x96, SafetySpace™ Filter Tip Low Retention, 5
