Whirl-Pak Thio Standup bags are specifically designed for sampling chlorinated water to test for faecal coliforms and other bacteria (applications: Municipalities, swimming pools, waste water and many other areas). To neutralise chlorine at the time of sampling, each pouch contains a non-toxic, non-nutritive tablet containing active sodium thiosulphate. Each stand up pouch is sterile and has a convenient labelling panel, EPA approved. The convenient pouches eliminate the need for expensive glass or plastic bottles, save on operating costs, storage space and disposal costs. Areas of application: Municipalities, swimming pools, waste water and many other areas. The Whirl-Pak Thio stand up pouches offer the well-known features of the Whirl-Pak pouches. Step 1: Label your sample if you are using a bag with a labelling field. Step 2: Tear off the top perforation to open. Step 3: Use the Tyvek® pull tabs to open without contamination. Step 4: Fill the sample into the bag. Perfect for liquids or solids. Step 5: Hold the bag by the tabs and twist three times to close. Or fold the flap tightly 3 to 4 times to close it. Step 6: For a secure closure, snap off wire ends.
