Question about item
For fine comminution of very small quantities of dry laboratory samples or solids in suspensions. For mixing and homogenising emulsions. Feed quantity up to 5 ml. Max. Feed size: (depending on material) 6 mm Max. sample size: 5 ml Sample quantity: 5 ml Final fineness: 5 µm Grinding process: dry/wet Vibrations of grinding bowl: 900 - 3,000 vibrations/min at 9 mm amplitude Range of application Well suited for sample preparation, e.g. in chemical analysis, chromatography, mass spectrography or X-ray structure analysis. Preparation of samples in genetic research, homogenisation of active substances, preparation of extracts in forensic analysis, grinding of pigments and precious materials. The PULVERISETTE 23 is also excellently suited for the disintegration of biological samples and for the low-temperature comminution of deep-frozen or cooled soft samples. Mode of operation A generously dimensioned DC motor converts the rotary motion into a vertical oscillating motion via a reciprocating gear. Due to the oscillations of the grinding bowl with high amplitude and frequency, comminution takes place in the grinding bowls by impact between the grinding balls and the inner wall of the grinding bowl as well as by friction between the grinding balls and the inner wall of the grinding bowl. In contrast to comparable mills, the spherical grinding bowl interior, which is optimally adapted to the comminution principle, achieves a significantly better degree of efficiency. The performance features at a glance Small grinding bowl volume for smallest sample quantities < 5ml Small contact surface with grinding tools Quick grinding bowl attachment with tongue-and-groove clamping system Vibration amplitude 9 mm Adjustable, reproducible grinding time and adjustable stress frequency Regulated vibration frequency (15-50 Hz.) Robust crankshaft drive Integrated glass keypad Easy to maintain 2-year warranty Equipment The PULVERISETTE 23 mini mill is delivered without grinding bowl and ball as standard. Grinding bowls and balls are offered in 5 different materials to avoid contamination of the samples by unwanted abrasion of grinding parts. PULVERISETTE 23 Mini-Mill
